The AP/MALDI (Atmospheric Pressure, Matrix Assisted Laser Desorption/Ionization) source has been our signature product since the inception of the company. Currently in its fifth version, the newest AP/MALDIs use the Next-Generation (or ng) platform. This new platform greatly eases installation by bringing controls for the laser size and position, as well as camera position and focus to the outside of the AP/MALDI hardware and eliminates the external laser box and fiber connection.
The HR differs from the UHR with the optical package which delivers the laser spot to the sample. For work that does not require 10 micron or better resolution, going with the HR option can be economical and very reasonable. Take a look for more information.
