(TSE:MDS; NYSE: MDZ), today announced that it has signed an agreement to market the MassTech AP\/MALDI system as a front end ion source for the AB\/MDS SCIEX 4000 Q TRAP\u00ae LC\/MS\/MS. The collaboration brings MALDI capabilities to the 4000 Q TRAP\u00ae LC\/MS\/MS platform to facilitate metabolite identification and post-translational modification identification.<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, the two companies will co-market the AP\/MALDI product for the 4000 Q TRAP\u00ae LC\/MS\/MS product line. MassTech will provide sales, installation, support and service for its AP\/MALDI systems.
