The AP/MALDI PDF ion source provides high sensitivity MALDI-MSn on your Thermo Finnigan LTQ, LTQ-Orbitrap, and LTQ FT mass spectrometers. The source is easily interchangeable with ESI in just minutes. The Model AP/MALDI PDF+132 for LTQs integrate Pulsed Dynamic Focusing (PDF), into the ion source housing. The larger square housing also accepts ABI's suite of MALDI plates (option ABISP). The Model AP/MALDI PDF+ 133 for LTQs integrate a high repetition rate all solid-state Nd:YAG laser for high throughput applications, better ion signal and lower lifetime ownership cost.

The AP/MALDI PDF ion source provides MALDI-MSn onto your Thermo Finnigan LCQ Deca XP series mass spectrometer, figure shown above.

The Model 122 for LCQ incorporates Pulsed Dynamic Focusing (PDF).

The original AP/MALDI ion source allows MALDI-MSn capabilities with your Thermo Finnigan LCQ Classic series ITMS. The AP/MALDI 112 and 113, with integrated PDF, is compatible with LCQ Classic, DUO and DECA. The AP/MALDI 122, with integrated PDF, is available for LCQ Deca XP series (except for Deca XP MAX)
