The AP/MALDI PDF ion source converts the standard nanospray source to enable MALDI onto your 4000 Q TRAP© system. The Model 712 is an AP/MALDI-MS configuration that was introduced at ASMS 2004 and incorporates, Pulsed Dynamic Focusing (PDF). The AP/MALDI on the 4000 Q TRAP© allows both triple-quadrupole MALDI-MS/MS capability and high sensitivity linear ion trap MALDI-MS/MS. A new Model 713, an AP/MALDI PDF+ with high repetition rate Nd:YAG laser is available for all listed spectrometers.
